Communications Associate, Driftwood Theatre—Summer 2020

  • Developed and scheduled social media content for over 3,000 followers on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, resulting in a growth of followers and engagement across all channels

  • Created, edited, and distributed bi-weekly e-newsletters; captured and analyzed social media insights.

Associate Producer, Driftwood Theatre—Winter/Spring 2020

  • Acted as production manager for the Trafalgar 24 Playwriting Festival; ran rehearsals, managed volunteers, and called the show.

  • Researched and compiled targeted lists of prospects for corporate sponsorships and outreach partnerships.

  • Developed communication and marketing strategies for the company.

  • Maintained and updated the Micharity donation database; entered donations and segmented contacts.

Programmer, Arts Ahead Symposium — 2019-2020

  • Developed and implemented a programming vision that moved away from the traditional format of previous Arts Ahead Symposiums, resulting in increased engagement during the event and positive feedback from attendees.

  • Promoted discussion amongst participants during the event on how the arts industry can change in order to adapt to the current political, social, and environmental culture.

  • Led a team of five programmers to successfully engage 14 symposium contributors in dynamic formats, including Pecha Kucha style presentations, workshops, and an Open Space discussion.

 

Artist Educator, Young People’s Theatre — Fall 2019

  • Created a cumulative curriculum and established a positive, team-building atmosphere.

  • Instructed a weekly class of Grade 5- 6 students, teaching them theatre skills and creation.

 

Teaching Assistant, Young People’s Theatre — Summer 2019

  • Assisted four different YPT faculty members in running two-week Drama Camp sessions for ages 8-12; each session culminated in an original performance created by the students.

  • Led games and exercises with students to teach them the basics of drama technique and collaborative creation.

 

Director, Musical Theatre Program, Elite Music Academy — 2017-2018

  • Programmed and taught a musical theatre program for ages 8-18, instructing students in the basic skills of being a triple threat and providing them with performance opportunities. 

  • Managed the program’s implementation, including booking rehearsal and performance venues, establishing a budget, organizing licensing contracts, assisting with content for online marketing, and creating invoices.

  • Utilized exceptional time management skills to produce, direct, choreograph, and stage manage successful productions of Annie Jr. and Alice in Wonderland Jr, as well as sourcing all props and costumes.

  • Prepared and presented piano and singing lessons for all ages, teaching both at a music school and independently.
